Performance Analysis

Despite the tempered glass panels seemingly hampering airflow, the View 32 actually performed well with a CPU delta T of 51°C enough to match the likes of Corsair's Crystal Series 570X, Fractal Design Meshify C and NZXT S340 Elite, although the rear fan, which is unhampered by any glass panels, does a lot of the helping here. It's not a stellar performance, but the View 32 is well within the top half of the results.

The GPU delta T was a little less competitive at 50°C, which was the same as the View 37 RGB as well as the Fractal Design Meshify C and 6°C adrift of the best result we've seen, while being very much a mid-table result. Still, the noise produced and restricted ventilation suggested worse cooling than this so we were pleasantly surprised.

Conclusion

If you want tempered glass and RGB lighting with your case then there are an increasing number of options to choose from. Probably the most obvious in terms of competition at the £120-150 price point is Corsair's Crystal Series 460X RGB, which costs about the same as the View 32, sports a PSU cover and dust protection for the front panel, although its roof is mesh rather than glass.

Out of the box the View 32 offers better cooling, but this is mostly down to the Corsair case lacking a rear fan mount - it's likely the addition of a 120mm fan here would turn the tables. Ultimately, the View 32 is a reasonable case for the cash with some interesting design tweaks, but the lack of front dust filters, the fact it only has two of its three front fan mounts occupied out of the box, as well as the lack of a PSU cover, put it at a disadvantage to similarly-priced cases so it just misses out on an award.
